It may be a bit late in the game to order this book, however it is AMAZING.
Its all about the Cold War and it was published by Hienemann Baccalaureate specifically for the IB Program. It has all sorts of helpful information, internet links for more information, and even TOK bits.
It was written along the new syllabus guidelines and includes all sorts of short answer and document based questions.

I highly recommend it.
