My subject is biology and my research question is: What are the effects on plant growth of artificial light (of different colours) compared to natural sunlight? I'll be using red (maybe orange), green and with LED lights and have one plant in natural sunlight. The control is a plant grown with no light. I'll be measuring the growth of the plant as my dependent variable. Should I measure something else instead of growth? e.g. vitamin C content. I think you need to find a question that is broad enough for you to analyse over the course of approximately 35-40 pgs. I like your topic it mostly cover everything and doesn't look too narrow. Just make sure it will be broad enough for you to cover the whole 4000 words EE.
