LinuxBeta
How about exploring the rise or fall of communism in some country in Eastern Europe? I did something like this, and it's really very simple- there are only that many books/experts on the topic, and it's not very difficult to write about. dragoncrawler1
Comparison of Valkyrie the movie and a book pertaining to this topic. Compare the movie to the actual event which is described in the book. Reply
ibislife
You want Communism in practise - e.g. Lenin, Stalin, Mao, etc? In that case I'd do try to do something on left-wing movements in Spain during the Civil War. You could otherwise try to compare the causes, results, or similar of two of: the revolutions of 1848, the Commune, the Russian Revolution, the Mexican Revolution, the Spanish Civil War, etc... If you want something more directly related to Marx, then maybe something about the importance of the Communist Manifesto as a document for different left-wing movements, maybe? Hope you come up with something interesting! Reply
