I just want to know if my topic is good or not. I want to explore the concept of tyranny, going in depth about why people perform “evil” actions -- that is, why do people hurt others or take advantage of other people. Here, I will be comparing the banality of evil thesis by Hannah Arendt, which claims that ordinary people commit atrocities without awareness, care, or choice; with the theory that perpetrators act thoughtfully, creatively, and with conviction. They are influenced by groups and are transformed because of that. Is this a good topic to go ahead with? Also, what research question can I make for this? Personally I think that sounds ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. It sounds really interesting and I would want to read that and I'm not even taking psychology. Remember you will end up changing your question a lot throughout the process as your found research can sometimes change things. So the question doesn't need to be 100% perfect right now.
