Indigobanjo Posted March 12, 2019 Report Share Posted March 12, 2019 I am currently choosing an MLI topic to write about and I think I want to choose 20th Century composers like Rachmaninoff and then compare this to traditional Japanese music. Will these be too similar? They are from different cultures but could be considered the same genre as the Japanese piece was written for a western orchestra (there is an adaptation of the score for a Japanese orchestra which I would use) Thanks for you advice in advance.
