masson
Now that IB exams are approaching in exam, I was wondering whether to buy an economics course companion or study guide. Considering IB exams are fast approaching it would be fair to say to get a study guide. Anyone know where I possibly buy (in-person) from a store in Toronto (possibly closer to eastern side)? IBSQUARED
You could try Chapters - even if they don't have the book, they'll order it for you to their store. As for upcoming exams, I think you should probably get a study guide, to have as much possible practice with previous economics questions (on previous exams). masson
Well, I have the biology course companion and that has the question. My bio teacher (the one who recommended for me to get a course companion) said that course companion does not have any questions for practice. Can you please confirm with some that has the IB study guide.BTW IBSquared, how long does it take for chapters to order the book for me so I can get it in store. Please let me know. Thanks. theDIDDLER
Study Guide, my friend. Chapters (or Barnes and Noble, as we have in Luxembourg) took only 5 days for me (they ordered it at the store and offered me the option to deliver it at my house for free). It came in mint condition, and I love it! Reply
CodeRed15
A good place to get books in Toronto is called BMV. It's a huge used books store and has a good collection of books. I'm not sure if they have IB companions but I've been there before and they do have a lot of other books. Its on the corner of Bloor and Yonge street. Check it out. masson
That is quite a bit far. Do you know of any locations in the suburbs. Reply

Heard that ones huge. Other than that, I don't think there are any good ones. Reply
masson
Dang, tried looking up the in-store stock availability at chapters near me, and it isn't available anywhere. Guess I am gunna have to resort to ordering online. Thanks for your effort anyway. Reply

Takes about 1-2 weeks to come and you don't have to pay any extra money. Reply

ibisgh3y
Use Course Companion. Personally I recommend Economics for the IB Diploma by Ellie Tragakes. Wonderful book. OK unless you want to waste your time researching and asking questions in forums that this book can answer you, then don't buy it. Reply
