However, I'm still wondering on the details of that essay. Is it fine if I just write it mainly as an analysis of the 3 groups of reasons (strategic, tactical, and technical), together with some personal evaluation. Or should some kind of creativity be added to make the research question more detailed and in-depth? One more problem. It is said to be the "official" website of RAF, but should I use it for my citation and references? And if yes, how should I cite it? Thanks in advance. Ask your EE coordinator which one she wants the footnotes in. Aren't strategy and tactics kind of similar? I know one is short term and the other long term. You could formulate your question again to make it more precise. E.g. Were strategical reasons more important than technical ones in bringing about the British victory in the Battle of Britain in 1940?
