lindieeluieee
Formal, casual, or unique? How important is your appearance to the interviewers?
__inthemaking
Business casual/semi formal.I'm a girl, I wear dress pants, blouse and heels. For guys, I'd say dress shirt, tie, dress pants, dress shoes. I don't think a suit is necessary all the time (maybe just a blazer), but depends on the university you're being interviewed for. Forester
I wore my school uniform (because it was during the school day), and my school uniform has a blazer. For the next one I am definitely not going to wear a suit... it looks too try hard. blindpet
Oxford interviewers told us they didn't care what we wore. Obviously you shouldn't look like a hobo but you shouldn't try too hard either as it may be interpreted as compensating for a deficient intellect ;P. Dress whatever you are comfortable in, they are interested in what you have to say and you are far more likely to say quality stuff if you can breathe properly and don't have an uncomfortable itch somewhere. That said, semi-formal, business casual is good. I wouldn't wear a tie but that's cause they're uncomfortable for me but w/e.
avrila
I've done my interview with Otago University in November 2008. I just wear my national clothe. You can view the picture by clicking the link below.http://img.alibaba.com/photo/100120909/Baj...rung_Modern.jpgI also wearing a coat to make it more smart. It goes well and the interviewer do not mind. Dr. Brunton is just nice. NZ applicants might have know him.
