Universities Prefer Lit v LangLit?

Hi guys, just wanted to ask a quick question, do colleges really prefer English Lit over English LangLit or would taking either be fine?

Either would be fine in most cases. Perhaps for Literature or Law in the UK, they might prefer Literature if they see that your school offers both. But it's a very minor thing. It's more important to do whichever you like (would honestly prefer to do Lit over Lang Lit).
