Yun
So I am currently writing my Written Task 1, which is the only type SL students have to write and submit. As I know one can write the WT about the books they have read during their course, or about a social issue. Is this correct? Can I write an opinion column about woman rights of a certain country? Or is it a must to write the WT in connection to the books? If I am writing the Written Task linked to one of the books, can I write from one of the 4 books? or only part 4 books? Thank you so much! Blackcurrant
Hi Yun, Your WT1 can be on any aspect that you have studied in your course (that means any Part of the course and any of the literary works too, not just from Part 4). Thank you, Is it ok if I write in a form of a police report about an accident in a story? I have seen 'report' is acceptable, but just wondering if police report is specifically ok. Blackcurrant
Hi, You *can* and it is "acceptable" -- but is it appropriate for your WT1 aims? For that, you need to check the learning outcomes and decide whether a police report will allow you to do what you need it to do.
