Dotti22
Hey Everyone, Just wanted to check whether we are required to know the Haber and Contact processes for the new IB Chem syllabus Thanks! Reply
IB`NOT`ez
Yup you're still required. The equations for those reactions, names of the catalysts involved, and general reaction conditions. Hoping they'll show up on exams as they're as free as marks can be. Msj Chem
The syllabus now states that details of specific industrial processes are not required so that excludes the Haber and Contact process which were required in the old syllabus. See here (in the guidance). http://www.msjchem.com/uploads/1/1/1/1/11113745/topic_7.pdf Edited September 18, 2016 by Msj Chem 1 Reply
