Recommended Posts

I have been unable to sleep for the last weeks because I submitted a wrong file that was not properly referenced and the footnotes were incomplete, and I should have put a footnote after a paragraph but  didn't, though I did include it in the bibliography.

the task is already authorized by my coordinator and I want to commit sucide because I have put too much effort in every single task and how this ... 😭

I don't know how to best phrase this. You shouldn't have waited weeks before reaching out to your IB coordinator. Plagiarism is a serious issue, and if deemed to be intentional, will result in not getting the diploma. If you have some recognizable form of referencing and intext citations, even if they don't completely follow any published style, should be ok. If your work passes through any form of plagiarizing checking software prior to submission to IB (such as turnitin.com), you should be ok. If it is shown that you have accidentally plagiarized, you might get 2-3 grades lower in your L&L because this only results in a 0 in the specific assignment. Should IB suspect you of plagiarism, you will be given an opportunity to defend your positions.
