karmarenee
So I'm working on the first draft of my ESS IA, which is due tomorrow, and so my panic over the IA has renewed.Basically, I'm growing poppy plants and watering them with zinc nitrate solutions. The ones with lots of zinc nitrate aren't really growing, which I expected, but for some reason my control is hardly growing either. This worries me because a few other people in my class are also growing poppy seeds and their controls have grown rapidly and look great. My control sprouts are short and they keep dying, if they ever grow in the first place. What do you do when your experiment fails like this? As far as I know, you have a couple of options in this scenario. I'd talk to my teacher immediately to go over options on how to proceed but you could also look at this critically and try investigate why it happened. It gives some great points for evaluation!
