BioMed
I am writing a restaurant review, and this sentence looked suspicious to me:The taste was luscious as it seemed to have “surreptitiously cowered†ingredients, as the chef claimed. Is this correct. Does it make sense? Edited January 24, 2016 by BioMed Reply
Siddhakshi
Cowered means to 'crouch down in fear,' so unless the dish was stealthily drowning in ingredients (therefore a bad dish) this sentence isn't correct. Reply
