Benjimanl Posted January 20, 2016 Report Share Posted January 20, 2016 Dear all, For my Musical Links Investigation, my teacher and I have come to a conclusion that it would be interesting to analyse the differences between an Irish Mazurka by Packie Manus and a Chopin Mazurka. I have sources that Polish folk music arrived in Ireland before Chopin had started to compose the dance, but I am worried that the two pieces are too similar to compare. What are your thoughts?
