History IA Research Question

Recommended Posts

My topic is about the Tianamen Square protests. I've been debating if I should focus on the causes of the Tianamen Square protests, or if I should focus on the effects of the protests after it happened. (i.e. on the Chinese economy/Chinese freedom/etc.)

Thank you!

Hey there! I'm not sure if this is still a question you want answered, but just in case...

Do some research on each and consider which you find the most interesting, and what you can find the most content on. Both are really important! Causes can be good because you have hindsight, and some long-term consequences are yet to come at the time of writing for such a relatively recent event. It's really up to you!
