That being said, if you were to be accepted with a phony essay you would be accepted based on a lie. At least in my opinion that's not really ethical. College essays are supposed to be an expression about you. If you make up stuff it's bound to be superficial. That said, admissions counselors tend to be pretty good at sniffing out BS so even from a purely pragmatic perspective (ethics aside)e, it probably isn't a good idea. Be creative.
