blackwaterpark
For our psychology IA, my partners and I decided to do an experiment based off of one that tested the effects of classical music on cognitive development with a repeated measures design. Due to lack of clarification, we tested the effects of classical, metal, and hip hop music on cognitive development with an independent measures design (too many variables). Our teacher cleared this up and told us to only talk about the results of one musical genre in comparison to the control group, so we decided to write about heavy metal in our IA's, However, our teacher is now telling us that we had to use the same genre of music that was used in the original statement and that we must rewrite our IA's to talk about classical, despite saying weeks ago that a variable was supposed to be changed. I've read on the internet that IA's can be a full replication, partial replication, or can have a completely different variable. So who's right?
