moneyfaery
HL Math would be much more useful than SL, regardless of whether unis require it. Reply
Solaris
Yes their first priority is Maths HL for engineering, i asked them the same question. They said Along with Physics HL, you also need Maths HL. Reply
__inthemaking
It's not necessary, but preferred. I have friends that went to U of T for engineering science, and Waterloo for chemical engineering. All of them took maths SL and physics SL (our school doesn't offer those subjects at HL) and they all got in, with scholarships. Reply

If your school offers the two subjects at HL definitely take them. Reply

It's different because I'm from Ontario, and as Ontario high school applicants, the universities don't even look at your IB grades unless you specifically request it. Everyone was accepted based on their high school marks. However, I'm sure that the process is different for international students. Reply

Anonymouser
Email the universities you're applying to and ask them, they're your best choice for advice. Reply
Sa7wal
Well I heard that Math Methods can be used, and I guess it is better than Math SL. I'm not quite sure though. So Just make sure. And I suggest what anonymouser said. Good luck!! Reply
