Harry Yoon
Hi everyone!I have currently started IBDP and am doing Maths HL. Our school is using 'Mathematics for the international student Mathematics HL(core)' by David Martin. However, I think for me the questions here are far too easy and if I look at the past paper the questions are in a higher level. Therefore, I want to know if anyone knows any textbook which has more hard questions than teaching sections, or perhaps which 'only ' has questions. If please anyone know a textbook full of challenging questions, please tell me Thank you very much! Reply
ac1998
Haese and Harris seems the way to go for better practice questions. For conceptual clarity, our teacher recommends the Math HL textbook from Cambridge University Press, according to him, it has the best explanations for concepts involving functions and trigonometry. The CUP book for the optional Calculus syllabus is pretty good too. Reply
Tom
Oxford sucks, H&H is ok but IBID is the best. Edited October 28, 2015 by Tom Reply
UncleChopChop
Haese & Harris core is pretty rubbish, but their Option Calculus textbook is really good - just something to keep an eye out for. Reply

Myramel Klaris
My school uses IBID book... Gotta admit IBID book is the best so far. For Oxford, I'm not that keen on the explanation part, but it has pretty good questions though Reply
