Or when do CAS hours officially count? As long as you did that activity during your IB program years (grades 11 and 12) then you should be able to count them. Emmi Posted August 28, 2015 Report Share Posted August 28, 2015 No hours you did prior to IB count towards CAS. Any hours you do upon starting IB do count. So any hours you've spent playing lacrosse in 11th and 12th grades count, but nothing prior to that count since you weren't a part of the IB program at that point (pre-IB doesn't count).
