No A1 subject?

you need to have atleast one A subject and at least one B subject, so taking A2 english is fine

Just adding on that some schools, such as my school, allow 2 language A subjects with no language B subject (double language A course). However, the IB doesn't seem to allow two language B subjects. :)

A bilingual diploma is when you do two Language As, instead of the regular Language A and Language B format.

It doesn't really benefit you when applying for universities unless you're applying for a Language course and want to do something related to Languages.

Otherwise, the bilingual diploma is a choice offered to those who are language enthusiasts or simply just want to torture themselves more (as if the IB Diploma programme isn't already torturing students :P )
