Vvi
Does anyone know where I can find videos of good TOK presentations? It would really help to see how people deal with problems of knowledge and how they manage to capture everyone's attention. Our class has a problem with engaging the class, we try to make it interesting but we can never think of ideas for how to incorporate movies/clips. Our TOK teacher always nags us about doing more to keep the class awake. Any suggestions? Reply
moneyfaery
Excessive technology usually takes away from the presentation, IMO. Why not have an eye-catching intro instead? Skits often work well as they're usually cheesy, hehe. And try to be enthusiastic - if you're bored, the audience will be falling asleep. Vvi
We have tried skits, maybe they would work well for the final presentations with only 2 or 3 people but with our groups being 4-5 people (teacher assigns them) it gets messy. I tried to look on Youtube, but to me they all seemed kind of boring even though they were taped. Some people did interviews but they giggled throughout and it didn't seem to have any relevance.
