NiCKEL
Looking for things to do in the summer....I've been trying to find things university/career related but I've exhausted the lists of things from nearby universities and post secondaries (cooking, pre-univ programs, science camps, etc) Running out of things to type into google Any suggestions on what meaningful activites to do (preferably not just plain Service stuff)I'm currently looking specifically for something that might look good for scholarships or things like that (interest - life sciences) and also new things to learn for creativity that requires the least amount of money... I don't quite like doing instruments because 1- the money to buy/rent 2-I think of it as something that only has value after many years of practice; a guy playing piano for 2 months..not too fancy for a scholarship? Even better if you live in British Columbia Sorry for being lazy but I'm spending way too much time searching Reply
Schrodinger's CAS
You can try volunteering at your local hospital. If you are interested in going into life sciences or medicine in University, volunteering at a hospital would certainly help you stand out.
