ShootingStar16
So I know that doing well in IB can get you uni credits, but I was wondering if that's actually worth it? I know you can save so much money, but would you be missing out on a lot of important material? I'm going into arts and I want to know if it's a good idea to skip some first year courses for that program. Thanks! Reply
lucettafetta
I suggest you look at the course material on the uni websites. I looked at the course material for psychology first year at UBC and it was everything I had already covered. But I think it depends on the subject. I think maths-based subjects are probably not a good idea to skip first year because it's more practical skills rather than content, but I would definitely check the uni websites. Also SAVING MONEY is awesome, and it would be great to be able to do more art subjects and electives instead of repeating things you've already done. 1 Reply
