DannyRodeck
I'm having trouble on finding the official IB guide for language A: Language and Literature which includes all the specifications of the course! I wanted to know all the specifications for the written tasks 1 and 2. Does anybody have it? Reply

King112
You realise that you could ask your teacher, its their job to tell you what the written tasks are.FYI, Written Task one, is a creative piece that is between 2000-3000 words. (I only know for HL)Also, a rational of maximum 300 words (if i remember right).Written task 2 is an essay. http://www.thinkib.net/englishalanglit/page/2888/criteria is one site I found, pretty good for an overview.http://www.languageandlit.org/hl-written-tasks.html this one is details.Helpful? 1 Reply

I asked it here cause I'm not going to school tomorrow and my teacher wouldn't answer through mail. And anyways, the aim of this site is for people to help each other so pointing that out goes against the ideals of this forum. Thanks for the second page it was actually helpful. One thing I understood is, if i choose to send my WT2 based on part 3, my sent WT1 must be based on part 1 or 2? Reply

The best two gets submitted, and one of the two WTs has to be from Part 1/Part 2, while the other has to be from Part 3/Part 4. So I guess it's a yes to your question Hope this clears some matters up! Edited February 19, 2015 by avalinelegato 1 Reply
