If you can reword it in a better way, please do.I think it's fine, but you may be asked to narrow it down. Talk to your teacher. One way to narrow it would be to focus on what regard the US was hindered. Hindered in attempts at successful advancement? Hindered in goal of pacification? To narrow it down, maybe specify what aspect hindered the US for WW2? So politically, economically, socially Just a suggestion and if you have a refined question and would like more feedback, don't hesitate!
