amazonesgludeklis
Hi! The thing is that our physics teacher just announced that we, the HL students, need to make our IA labs from scratch because the ones we did last year supposedly aren't about complicated enough topics, so they would result in low grades. Is this true? Do the IA's of HL students really need to be about more complicated topics in order to achieve good marks? Reply
ibprincess
no look at the criteria--its identical for sl and hl. the criteria doesn't ask you to do more complicated ia's and the markerswill only mark you on the criteria? in my class sl and hl do the same ia's and are marked the same way 2 Reply

I think you're mistaking Physics, for Math. In Math you are required to do the IA based on your level of Math. HL is supposed to do a much more in-depth exploration than SL. However, in Physics as IBPrincess Stated the SL and HL IA criteria are quite similar. Edited January 24, 2015 by Djsporting Reply
