I found Abigail quite fascinating though.Do you think the crucible has anything to do with arthur miller's relationship with Marilyn Monroe? My teacher said Abigail is basically Marilyn Monroe to him.. but I didn't understand that because I don't really know of their relationship. What do you guys think about this?Lastly, has anyone read any other play/book by arthur miller? And what were your thoughts on it? I'm currently reading "A view from the bridge" by him. I just feel like knowing about him and marlyin would give me a better understanding of Abigail as a character etc. I will make sure that I don't evaluate the entire book based on his personal life though.
