JDuncan5876
In the HL Math program at my school, rather than the teacher deciding on one option for the class, we each get to select our own. I took AP Calculus BC last year and got a 5 on the exam, but I'm stuck between Calculus and Discrete Mathematics. I was going to pick Calculus, but a friend of mine in Further Math said that Discrete Mathematics was extremely interesting, and my math teacher said that it has applications with technology. If I'm looking to go to a STEM school to work with computers and electronics, would it be more beneficial for me to reinforce the Calculus I already know (and make my life a bit easier this year), or to learn Discrete Mathematics? Knight
There is no piont taking calculus again if already have college credit with Calc BC. Discrete Math is an epic topic. I think you should take that. Reply
