Rentle
Hello, everyone. The time to choose the right universities came. And instantly, that gives a rise for a sorrow question: buy insurance by choosing a low-rank university/course (biochemistry, biosciences, biomedicine) or risk to fail by coosing my firm choice (Dentistry/Medicine)? It is known that UCAS has 5 choices. So how my combination should look like in the best case? 1)1,2,3,4-Dentistry/Medicine 5-Foreinsic sciences/Biochemistry 2)Something mixed up of both equally 1.Dentistry 2. Biochemistry 3. Medicine 4. Biomedicine 5. Veterinary 3)1,2,3,4,5-Biosciences/Biomedicine/Foreinsic Sciences. Reply
mania90
Think about your predicted grades, about last year requirements, about university you would like to apply and about UKCAT test and about your experience as a volunteer (or other) For example if u want to appply medicine at cambridge and have predicted grades like 666 or even 667, face the truth, it's gonna be hard to get there unless you have extreme predispositions or shown incredible dedication to medicine (if the invite you for and interview) Edited August 10, 2008 by mania90 Reply
Rentle
My predicted grades range around 33 [excluding TOK and EE]. That's not enough for dentistry and medicine (in most cases) . So, should I even try to opt for a higher mark or should I guarantee myself success by choosing a simplier course? Reply
