In addition to what dvirchow mentioned, which are indeed some valuable points, also note that some schools don't accept close family as supervisors of the activities you do for CAS. If your school too has this policy, this means that you need another person than your father to sign the papers and confirm that you have indeed done so-so many hours of action.
