Learning an instrument count for CAS or other way around?

So my father wants to teach me an instrument so iwas wondring if learning could count? If not, would teaching my sister an instrument count? Thanks!

Hey there!

This is something you need to talk about with your CAS coordinator. Each school has their own set of things they allow and don't allow for CAS, so it is impossible for us to say what your school's regulations are. Although most schools permit it, language learning would not count as CAS at my school, for instance. I would assume learning an instrument would count, but again, you need to talk to your CAS coordinator.

Based on my coordinator, learning an instrument would count as creativity but not action or service.
