slytherin22
For my Biology IAs, I often get marked down in the evaluation section. I wrote down a number of improvements such as increasing the number of trials, decreasing the percentage error, etc. Even though they are considered as valid by my teacher, the marks aren't as good as I expected. What sort of improvements should I write down for my evaluation? I really want to improve my IAs. Thanks! Reply
Thrashmaster
My teacher was just talking about this the other day (though it was in chem). He said to not blame the equipment, at least not primarily. Instead, truly reflect on the pitfalls of your procedure and controlled variables. The IB wants to see you reflect critically and honestly. It doesn't matter if your experiment failed so long as you could, in theory, do it better next time. Reply
