The word count really depends on what type of media source you are using. For example, a prezzi presentation or powerpoint might have fewer words than a website. Koura Posted April 11, 2014 Report Share Posted April 11, 2014 Hi IB say that you shouldn't really have less than 1400 as there won't be enough detail in it to fulfil all of the criterion. As will all IB coursework, there is no minimum wordcount as such, but there are general guidelines If you are too far under 1400, then it might be worth thinking about the format of your MI as you get marked on that too; you might get marked down if the format isn't suitable and therefore there aren't enough words.
