Jlouz Aguilar
Hey I'm a noob on this IB thing, and I'm really confused about CAS. We (me and my classmates) don't have an idea for completing our 150 hour requirement. What can we do? Sorry, but this is weird for me, and if I don't complete them, I will end like him -> Reply
Smita
I'd say, first thing, talk to your CAS coordinator. S/he will be able to tell you what kind of things are acceptable as CAS. But here are some classic examples that will most probably be accepted as CAS. Creativity: Art, dance, public speaking, writing classes (outside of your mandatory English class.), music etc.Action: Active sports like tennis, cricket, football, rugby and the like, dance (if you can justify it.).Service: volunteer work, community service like helping out at animal and homeless shelters, helping out with school activities like plays, etc.Remember, though, these all need to be supervised by someone that is not your family, or it won't count. Once we started getting harassed for our CAS logs, we kind of learn how to find CAS hours in practically everything we do. Good luck! Reply
