If you mean books with shelter building, first aid and weapon making to survive in deserts, jungles, forests or dire urban situations. I could tell you quite a bit, and if you are interested maybe point you towards a few good books.I'm o f the opinion that its really good to have books from a variety of authors with a variety of backgrounds. Believe it or not, there is actually quite a bit of debate fr some survival techniques, for example. Some survivalists would suggest someone takes the time to fashion a bow for hunting. Others would say its crazy to expect someone in that's situation to make a decent bow, a throwing stick ( literally a stick to throw) is in their opinion the best pick. Anyway, I'm going to embarrassed is this is not what you mean. Please elaborate!
