GemmaJade616 Posted November 15, 2012 Report Share Posted November 15, 2012 So my teacher is partly evil and decided it would be fun to swap around our written tasks so we are doing written Task 2 for grade 11 as our first written task, if that makes sense. Anyway I have to choose a topic involving media in some way, we have read 1984 if this helps... I am not good at Media studies so I have no ideas!!These are the prescribed questions we are given:How could the text be read and interpreted differently by two different readers?If the text had been written in a different time or place or language or for a different audience, how and why might it differ?How and why is a social group represented in a particular way?Which social groups are marginalized, excluded or silenced within the text? For what purposes and with what effects?How does the text conform to, or deviate from, the conventions of a particular genre, and for what purposes?How has the text borrowed from other texts, and with what effects?If anyone has any ideas for a topic I will love you forever because I am totally lost!Thank you Reply Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
