Abnormal psych question

Our school chose the Abnormal Psych option along with the human relationships option.

For abnormal psychology, we only have to choose one disorder from 2 out of the 3 categories (affective disorders, anxiety disorders, eating disorders). I want to do PTSD and Bulimia, which are from anxiety disorders and eating disorders, respectively.

However, I've noticed that my textbook has a lot more information on major depressive disorder (an affective disorder). Would it be a disadvantage to me if I choose PTSD and Bulimia, which I have less information about? Would my marks be negatively impacted? This textbook provides MUCH more information on depression than the two disorders that I would want to do. I find these two more interesting.

You aren't being graded differently due to which book you studied. Without sounding too critical, this is a dumb question. If you know more on a particular disorder, then play to your advantage. Don't handicap yourself and try to discuss a topic you don't know.

It all depends on the question, too, which is given during the Exam. It may say etiologies/symptoms of a mood disorder, and not necessarily both mood and eating disorders. But really, if you're already an expert in one, does it hurt to learn about another?
