PseudoWoodo
How can I get a topic for my EE on the book? I currently do not know where to start from this but I have read the book several times. Any ideas? Reply
Emmi
Look at themes, symbols, characterization, motifs, style, language, etc. that stood out to you and you feel are important. Choose one or two of these, find quotes that support it, analyze it, and voila. Not that hard to do. Besides, we can't come up with your topic for you, so pick it for yourself! funny10sport
You can get a topic deep in your brain! Jokes aside, just like Emy said, there are many themes in that book to discuss. If you need some hints, think about the animosity, savagery, civilisation (social justice imposed by man)...the characters and what they present. And then find things in the book, quotes, certain passages to prove your point. If you still need more ideas or guidelines, you could always take a glance at sparknotes to enlighten your thinking. http://www.sparknotes.com/lit/flies/themes.html Reply
