Emmi Posted February 21, 2012 Report Share Posted February 21, 2012 I used The Bluest Eye for one of the books I did my IOP on (the other being Brave New World). I don't know how the IOP is done now since I'm in the old syllabus and you're in the new syllabus, but I'm assuming that it will be somewhat similar. It's up to you to come up with your topic! However, you can look at themes, symbols, motifs, language, etc. Basically anything you want is fair game. Try looking at how Morrison portrays each girl, blue eyes, racism, dolls, houses, and other major things like that for inspiration.
