Tony Stark
Looking at the CAS learner outcomes, it would appear that the one most tied to service is 'engaging with a global issue'. If that were interpreted as the service criteria, would it not be possible for one to claim writing on a blog raising awareness of social and economic issues as service? I ask as, though I've done a week of 24/7 volunteer work as a camp supervisor on a sponsor camp for disadvantaged children, and have a Service project coming up later in the year - thus I'm well over 50 hours for service - as my CAS co-ordinator states, I need a 'regular' and 'consistent' service activity; and this certainly seems preferable if it qualifies.
