Swetry
I have a question about how the IB exam is meant to look like, what is the examiner actually allowed to mark? i was told that they can only mark the pages that you send off (30 photos of WB and 15 of studio work). Is this true? thanks Reply
Wide Eyed Wanderer
Hey, the marking depends on the option you take. In option A (both HL and SL), the externally marked component would be the studio work - the examiner will look at your studio work which is displayed in your exhibition (although he/she may sometimes ask to see other work as well). However, the examiner will also look at your IWB and check to see connections between investigation and studio. Your teacher will mark the investigation workbook pages. Vice versa for option B.
