Mandarin B or indonesian ab initio

Recommended Posts

which one would be easier?

I have done mandarin for the past 3 years but i wasnt reallly paying attention in classes so really do not know anything. However, I can speak cantonese which is the other dialect of mandarin but i cannot write anything.

I am considering switching to indonesian if it will be a lot easier

oh hey I saw you on TSR :P I'm the user with the big purple signature and a smiley face avatar like this --> :desy:

as I said, Indo ab initio is easier, if you don't mind learning a new language. if I remember correctly you have to read a few books in language B so if you don't feel like reading a Chinese book then go for ab initio!
