Error bar

As far as I know, error bars in HL Biology are the standard deviation. So, if you're using Microsoft Excel, and you've got all your data in there, formulate a graph, whichever you want. Then, make a column and type "=STDEV" and click it when it comes up highlighted, Then select the data you would like to find the standard deviation of (usually your averages), and click enter :D You now have your standard deviation. Highlight your graph and there should be an option somewhere (it depends what version of Microsoft Office [or whatever] you have) and click "format error bars". Highlight your standard deviation when prompted. Play around with that function for a bit til you get your standard deviation error on your graph in the appropriate places.

Hope this helps a little :)
