icy
If I got a 5 on both my IOC and IOP, and assuming I ace my exams, is it possible to get a 7 overall? Reply
dessskris
yes yes it is possible, but you really have to ace your papers 1 and 2.so good luck! Reply
Abu
Sure, if you get more than a 90% on both papers. Is that possible? It's highly unlikely. Do your best, don't think of the number at the end. If you put in all the effort you possibly can, there's not much more you can do except pray to your God of choice for the IB to not screw you over with an exceptionally difficult question or passage. Guest Red XII
It would be extremely difficult, and depends on the quality of your WL1 and WL2 as well.If you do some very rough math:Assume a 5.5 IOP/IOC combo @ 30%. That's 1.65 out of 7.You still need 7-1.65 = 5.35 to get a 7.You have 70% left to get that 5.35, which means that 70% needs to have a score of at least 7.64, which is a high 7.You'd have to get a 7 on your WL1, your WL2, your P1, AND your P2. All of those 7s would have to be high 7s - not just the bottom of the boundary for a 7. 1 Reply

adletaY
If you can say what your marks were on both orals then I could try and give you a more accurate estimate. Reply
