Eggshell

hey :) I have a small problem. tomorrow I am having lab about checking the amount of CaCO3 in eggshells but the teacher told us to check the percentage of this CaCO3 before lab as we will know what results should we expect. does anyone know something about it and want to help me? :)

The literature value should be something around:

2.2 grams of calcium in the form of calcium carbonate per egg. Approximately 94% of a dry eggshell is calcium carbonate and has a typical mass of 5.5 grams,although these values can differ depending on sources. Amounts as low as 78% have been published.
