ninetyfour
I'm not sure if there's already a topic for this or anything, I'm still new. Has anyone by chance gone into Waterloo Engineering after doing IB?If so, what IB courses did you take?I know HL Physics is recommended...but my school doesn't offer HL Physics, and there was a chance the SL Physics would be cancelled, so I didn't risk it...would this ruin any chances of me getting in?Edit** I should probably move this to specifically the "USA and Canada" section, as I realize now, but I don't know how.. master135
For any engineering program (for most universities in Ontario including UW) I am pretty sure you would need a physics credit. Physics SL is good enough if you can still take it, or else you may have to get the credit some other way (such as summer school). Reply
nametaken
Oh so it's just for Canada and the USA? Well, for imperial college in London, you'd need a 6 in HL maths, and in Physics + another science....Just my thoughts... Reply
chrypton
http://www.findoutmore.uwaterloo.ca/admissions/international.php?id=7From their entry requirements you can see that they require 5s in Math and Physics, where they recommend you to take them at HL.
