NightWings
Any one have any ideas for CAS, particulary service, in hcmc for westerns who speak little or no vietnamese? there are only 5 of us non-vietnamese, and we speak varing levels of the languge, from conversational to a few words (me!) so we're having trouble finding projects. You and the 5 non-Vietnamese students could possibly organize a school event together. You do not necessarily have to go out and speak Vietnamese, too. You could always pair up with a friend who speaks Vietnamese and go volunteer or something and they could translate for you...Here is the link to another similar discussion. I made a list of CAS activities I think you could do in English although you are in Ho Chi Minh. This is assuming that the people at your school all speak English...Hope this helps Reply
∫ Jorge δx
...You could start taking out-of-school Vietnamese classes and count that towards your CAS hours. Reply
