What mass of carbon dioxide is required to fill a tank of volume 12.0 L at a temperature of 20.0 C degrees and a pressure of 4.00 atm?

The answer is 87.9g

First I have to get n (moles) and I have done that, but I dont know what to do next... noob help please ! Test tomorrow :S

use pV=nRT to find n (this is what you did right?)

then after you get n, you can find the mass by:

mass=n*Mr

the Mr of CO2 is given by 12.01+2*16.00 (values can be found in the data booklet)

i get "n" to be : 0,02, which will not give me the right answer of your way of solving
